Default Issues with the front headlight

I don't like the front headlight on the current design. It's too bubbly and takes away from the aggressive look as seen from the rear 1/4 view. I think they could reduce the size of the headlight casing. Dear GM, please scrap the C6 headlight design...make it more sleek, maybe a horizontal opening, or maybe a "strip" that goes roughly from the bottom inside corner of the current headlight location to the top outside corner. Make the next gen C7 look more aggressive when viewed from the front, because this bubbly-headlight is like an element taken from the C1 and mashed together with a modernized C3 rear section.

I don't think GM cares what we think.

Hide away headlights will not come back due to insurance reasons. GM will push the daytime running lights.

To an extent, I think that's a good thing.

Some of the C6 concepts that were shown to the public had some sharper lines to them that made them look more modern and put its styling above many of the exotic cars produced today.

However, many of the corvette enthusiasts who were set in their ways hated it because it didn't automatically match what they had envisioned the C6 to be. This resulted in many of the modern lines of the C6 to be removed and is why magazines started calling the C6 a C5.5.

This goes for GM executives as well. There are many elements on the C6 that I can tell are "design by committee" results.

What we really need in Corvette is a design revolution that we saw in the 60's. Most auto designers were given free reign over their projects which gave birth to great cars. Trust the design team to make the tweaks that may be needed. (as a designer, the last thing i like are inexperienced people dictating my creative process to me.)

Remember the episode of the simpsons when homer is put in charge of making a car for the common man? Don't let this happen to our vette.

...Now, ignoring all I said above...
Yeah, GM... Horizontal EVIL headlight slits, TYVM.

I am glad I am not the only one who hates the new headlight design. I like the hide away ones. They make me happy
