.......Just from dealing with the bumper impact standards, there is no way for those corners to accept that kind of energy on their own. There is NO way that rear end makes it to final design.
I can live with the front and sides though. If those scoops on the front aim air at the front brakes, that would be pretty cool...
All of you that say..."I am going to keep my C6" are lying to themselves. Whatever, the C7 looks like...as long as it improves on the performance of the C6 you'll see threads of "How do I get the best deal on the C7" I had a C5 which I thought was the best looking Vette ever made. I hated the C6 when I first saw it. Guess what....So before you say "NEVER" wait till it comes out. JMO
The front and profile are believable but that configuration of the rear window will not happen--reminds me of my '77--never liked the tunneled back window. The hatch could be a possibility with that rear iteration, but one big test for it would be crashworthiness.

funny how they have not even given the C7 a thumbs up at GM but all these "is this the C7" threads come out. IMO, the corvette's days are numbered. THey cannot sell the ones they have right now.. Give it up people!!
Perzactly. Nuttin but a transformer photoshop. A well done one at that.
However - the rear end on the second one would never happen. WAY too much wasted / reduced interior volume for the sake of an inspirational Nintendo look.

And I'm with you. I loved my C5, and wasn't thrilled with the C6. Now, owning one, I love the improvements.
Got to go against the grain, here. I think the first Photoshop effort looks pretty dang good! I'd park one in my garage. Kind of catches up with the rest of the auto world's styling.
To date there have been no "real c7" pictures anywhere because there is no real c7 out there.Only imaginations in overdrive, just like when the c6 was getting ready to appear. The c7 is still 3+ years out according to GM and it may be longer with their current state of affairs. This atrocity looks like nothing more then a modded c5.

I just don't see the corvette going bye bye, car mags have the info that C7 should hit around late 2013 as a 2014 model. If the Z28 is back on I don't get how that doesn't guarantee the C7 lives on. The amount of power the Z28 puts out dispels the notion that GM won't be willing to still make performance cars with power. Heck the Camaro, Vette and CTS-V are really the only performance cars that will be left.
