I have probably posted this on here before, but it's been a while back. I would love to see this in a smaller lighter than C6 design using a DI LS3 good for 475hp in the base Corvette. Sorry to repost the same pic, but I just can't help myself from being such a big fan of this design.

Melting Slicks
I sure hope those aren't side pipes, because I despise thouse lol.
But other than that I quite like it. It's certainly a move in the right rirection if nothing else.

i like it... my main concern is the next gen be very good aero wise
the new e coupe has a cd of drag of .24 if gm can get there with DI V8 (maybe a DI version SC'd from the ctsv in a detuned version for a base c6) and a 8 speed auto zf tranny (hybrid capable like in the s400 merc and holds 738lbft !!) with paddle shift and keep weight near 3k it will be a killer with a near 30mpg rating and 35 plus in the hybrid version
on the inside ...the cts and some suv models made by GM have great interiors so it can be done... despite these changes i think it can base in the mid to upper 40k still...
gm should start sharing some the beefier componets form the ctsv in a trickle down manner like the breaks and interior pieces so on and so on...it would help on bringing the cost down for these better componets
