The thing I love about the Stingray concept is that it sets the stage for a slow, Porsche-like evolution later on. The C5/C6 borrow too much from European supercars, and the Corvette shouldn't evolve beginning from the C5, because this isn't the iconic Corvette design, much as I love it:

The Stingray concept could be the basis for a long, slow evolution, because it takes more design cues from the fundamental, instantly recognizable Corvette than the C5/6/Jalopnik cars do.
