Corvette to move manufacturing from Bowling Green to Lansing?
Speculation --- wild! But there are some facts that would seem to make sense for this move.

I dont think that article holds much water, first off the Camaro is rear wheel drive too, plus its spelled "Camaro" not "Camero". Also i dont think they would move the plant w/out the museum.
At least i hope not anyway...

GM says: a non-story.
Follow the link now and you will see at the bottom:
UPDATE: A spokesperson for GM/Corvette said today (7/14/2010)
"There's no connection between Lansing and Corvette - a non-story. The television chat in Lansing had some off-hand remarks, not from us. No new plans, nor decisions made. Bowling Green is home to the Corvette."
Anyone who has toured the Corvette assembly plant knows it is a unique line building a unique chassis of unique engineering in a unique way.
No other vehicle, GM or otherwise, is laid out or put together quite like it. That ain't pride, that's fact. Corvette is not a steel unibody, and its packaging is not sedan-like.
And we know C7 is not going to be a radical reinvention of the platform, so its unique nature will continue.
