- No cylinder deactivation or DI for initial year(s)

- Styling & user friendly changes will be as great as those from the C4 to C5

- Mid 2013 into as a 2014 Model

- C6 for 60th year will have some big offerings

My projection ----
- production will be a year later;
- all will have aluminum frames;
- styling changes will be not much more than tweeks of the current c6;
- interior will be much improved .. but still low cost
- garmin based navigation
If this is all they do, sales will continue to decline. Such minor changes would not satisfy GM's own stated objectives for the C7.

I would be surprised if we see a C7 (production model) before 2015 and more likely, 2016.

As for high sales numbers, fortunately GM has kept the Corvette as what it was originally intended. Ford chased public opinion on sales and killed the T-Bird, something GM didn't do. In 58 when Ford tripled it's sales on the T-Bird by making it bigger and a four seater, thank God GM didn't take the bait. Just read all the opinions here, how could anyone make everyone happy. GM should and will build a great car using what they have and what makes economical sense for building what it is.
