in person the GTR looks huge!
Back to the C7, I've long jumped off the gm bandwagon , they do the same crap every time a new model is released.
The C7 has been out and about , and as the C6 mules, this looks like the car gm is releasing, we know it's a reskin, but to me looks to much like the caddy(which happens to be made in the same plant)
We who? C7 will have a fresh look; it'll weigh less and go faster and have a better interior than the car it replaces. Everything else is gravy.
I'm sure everyone will find some nit to pick, and of course you can't please everyone, but a whole lot of folks will find any disappointment overwhelmed by the overall badassery of The Next Corvette.

Haters gonna hate, but I saw a GT-R in person and it changed my impression. The GT-R in real life looks much better than the pics on the web, FWIW.
And, how does a Corvette owner diss the GT-R for being a Nissan? It's not like Corvette comes with a Cadillac logo.
Cheers,
JB
I hate to disagree....but I can't help but disagree on this. I am not a "rice" hater...BUT the GTR looks like a $30-40k car. The styling on the 370Z is much sharper and sleeker...that is one car Nissan really nailed on the styling.
Give me the GTR drivetrain in a 370Z body, and I'd go for that!
The Aaahh Sooo we think of when watching old Godzilla movies, or looking at most "Asian" designed cars. I wonder if the sales that DON'T occur in the USA are an influence on all of todays new car designs - no matter where they are assembled.
Friggin' junk, in my book. http://www.automobilemag.com/feature...ars/index.html
looks even worse than the renderrings. Put a Nissan badge on it already.
When the OP says Ahh soo, Stalag 17 comes to mind when William Holden says: "Ach zo"... Sounds like ahh sooo??? Anyone? Movie buff?
Oh I don't know if that's even remotely "safe to say".

nope... not.
I like the current Z coupe alot actually. Outside and inside.
The GTR on the other hand looks like a conservative sedan that was converted into a .... a.... something.
****** designs have no excuse.
****** Corvette designs are a sin.
