PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE THE Z06 and ZR1 a TT, and make it a standard feature! People that don't wanna use it never will, and people that do... Well at least they can! GEEZ MAN!

Sorry about that rant ladies and gents. :P

I just had to get it out... Haha

Wait, you'd like to see BOTH the C7 Z06 and the C7 ZR1 with a twin turbo set up?
I too love turbocharging and could maybe even see one of them being either NA or supercharged with the other one being TT, but both of them using the same engine/power adder combo?
I mean, knowing recent Corvette history and also what we know about future fuel economy/emission mandates across the entire vehicle line, does that really seem logical to you?

**** a targa top let's see some twin turbo vette's. Say it "It's a twin turbo vette" that just sounds natural just like saying "it has a 427 in it"

We're expecting all C7s to have a new aluminum frame that's rigid enough to allow for verts and targas so a ZR1 targa top should no longer be a problem.

I think GM's mistake was not using the glass roof panel for the fixed Z06 and ZR1's. The roof would still be closed but you have that airy feel about the cabin.

The Audi A5/S5 as well as the Cadillac CTS Coupes have Glass roof vents that just open about an inch.

Geez ladies. The performance cars have fixed roofs so you can race them in series that don't allow removable tops.

They aren't so you can show off at the country club. That's why there's a 427 GS vert now.

I actually prefer my ZR to be a fixed roof coupe. Tight as a drum. No squeaks. No rattles. No pops.

If the next ZR (or whatever they call the high performance version of C7) is to get a targa, I hope they do a better job engineering that targa than they did the C6 targa.

I love having a targa top, but I have to admit all the noises that come along with it aren't very pleasant, even with the fixes that are out there.

If the C7 is going to have this top, they must do a much better job tightening the car up.
