I wonder if they tweaked the chassis to free up space for seats. As I understand it, C5/C6 is too narrow for a lot of aftermarket seats, adding to owner frustration. Knowing GM's need to accomodate a wide (ahem) range of body types with the factory seats, I'm not confident they'll fix the seat problem for everyone.
I really hope that is easily fitted to a C6 and has a side impact airbag attached to the side of it. If so there is going to be a giant market for this seat!
The shipping company and the seat manufacturer (both of which will remain un-named) were the ones in hot water. I'm just glad we caught it before it spread too far and got people in more trouble. As it is, I think they just recieved a slap on the wrist.
I figured it was only a matter of time before the pic was removed.
I think it's so silly how GM actively hunts down and gets these rogue leaks shut down.
It's just a CAR!
Did it really hurt anything when that Hot Wheels Viper was leaked early?
I was kind of hoping for the Opel seat, but this frame was a good start. Of course it means fixed side bolsters. I suppose they coul use an inflatable system to tighten it up.
I have removed the copy in my post...hope nobody got in trouble.
i appreciate it. no real harm done now that the pictures are down. let's just say GM really does spend quite a bit of time on the forum, lol. had i known they were confidential, i'd never have shared.
