Latest photos are up... Can see the seats

LOVE the seats. Everyone complains about support, and that looks like it. I'm sure they will be comfortable enough on a long trip, but at least there is some lateral support from the looks of it. This is a sports car after all, it should be like one through and through.
Awesome observation on the rocker panels flaring out, though I feel like that might be a performance model. Check those fat tires, they are pretty big I think compared to some of the other test cars out there.

FWIW all the mules I've seen pictures of have that rocker panel flare out in the same manner. I suspect the first year we'll be seeing just one model with a Z06/ZR1 coming down the road. I wonder if there's a convertible for the first year? Probably not or we'd have seen some testing of one by now.

The more I look at the Jalopnik drawings I think this might be an ok design. It seems to work when you see it all together instead of looking at one part here and one part there.

There are several things in this picture that could lead one to believe that this might be the high end/high performance version ( a couple have already been mentioned, but none in total).
First and foremost, look at the depression in the cammo in the middle of the hood. Doesn't that look almost exactly like the shape of the ZR1 hood window to the SC?
Look at the rear tires - monsters with no tread on the outer 6" or so!
The rocker panel flare to the rear tires, as already mentioned.
The seats, as discussed, maybe the high performance option?
Could this be the new ZR1?

Maybe some with negative offset.

And don't forget we need some hole's for racing belts. I mean we are all closet racers and will want to keep those pesky GT500 guessing what we are packing.

It was asked above why the holes. That's exactly why. Direct feedback from GM engineers attending NCM HPDE events. Many run groups won't let you run harnesses without pass-through openings in the seats. It used to be you could wrap them around the seat just fine, but that's changed over the years (again depending on run group).

It's about time we get some real seats in the vette. Now, they gotta get rid of the obvious 5 spoke wheel design. Very boring and unoriginal.

With the fender flares and the hood and the air gap intake which i see and the tires and the seats.personally i think we are looking at the big daddy. But i see a line at the rear of the top which tells me removable top.as i know only the gs is that way.not the REAL big boys

And my guess by the all of a sudden blast of pics compared to a half year ago..it won't be long until we really see it or we really see a true definitive detail.
