Seems reasonable figuring this is a base-model rending.

I do not think that word ("exactly") means what you think it means.

Even the Omega video shows differences. IIRC Jalopnik altered their rendering at some point. If that is true then you statement can't be true as their would have been more than one Jalopnik rendering and they all can't be right if they changed something.

The most recent pictures show a hatch that has a different opening.

Exactly means like two identically optioned 2013 Corvettes driving off the line and having their pictures taken. If you looked at both pictures you would not be able to tell which picture was of which car. That's exactly. Especially when you bold it and put it in all caps (shouting it at us).

Let's check back after the January reveal and see if it is "EXACTLY" like the Jalopnik render (and not another revision).

I picked up a '97 in June of '97, so almost everyone who saw it was seeing the C5 for the first time (in person at least). The second most frequent comment.. after "that *** is huge" was "it looks just like an RX-7."

My point is that each new line/area we see ends up being reflected accurately in the Jalopnik design. The latest one has been the transition of the rear b-pillar/hatch panel into the quarter/decklid among many others.

You also see that same feature in the Omega video.

^ Nice

But of course the Jalopnik renderings are pure crap and can't possibly be right. You're foolish for believing anything of the sort.

MT is not even remotely close. There's not going to be a bubble hatch for one. Fenders are all wrong. Back end is wrong too.

.....
Look at the hatch again. It does not have straight sides. It makes a T at the back of the car. The Jalopnik hatch does not. The white bit at the back you have circled is a part of the rear lip. The hatch does not go into the bumper cover. It stops at the bumper cover.

Good thing that it is wrong because this rendering is enough to gag a maggot
