If they actually saw the cars without camo, then they probably signed a non-disclosure agreement with GM.

Well, then why did they publish pictures of it?

Maybe those were based only from info from camo cars. If they actually saw the C7 with zero camo, it had to be someplace where GM had control of the viewers. In a case like that, it could be there were non-disclosure agreements signed and/or threats of law suits if someone spilled all the beans. Just a theory.

Yeah, hard to say what really happened...they said they saw "sheetmetal" which I took to mean bare body parts at the very least.

I confess I am one of those who just couldn't believe the Jal render until Omega...they did nail it! They will be back with more before January, maybe before the LA Auto Show in Nov.

Hey Ox, I think Jalopnik saw a CAD very similar to keeks stuff and that was the extent of it. What do you think ?
More in January? Have you heard from them on this?

It's been ten and a half months since Jalopnik's big reveal. Time flies.

See post #3...Matt Hardigree, Editor of Jalopnik, told me he was coming out with more well before the reveal in January at the LA Auto Show in November.

I really don't know what Jal saw...they said they saw "sheetmetal", whatever than means.

BTW, if I understand this correctly, the CADs we have seen of the "KeekCAD CorvetteTM" were NOT done by Keeks but were files he passed on to us. If it is otherwise, I'd like to know.

I bet Jalopnik reveals the full interior, or at least the prototype version of it, essentially the same as production.

I believe that argument still has merit because the keeksCAD , similar to Jalopnik are still just drawings.. The keekCAD actually reminds me of a Lego project.

I was basically told this by a well respected GM official at a car show last year when the Jalopnik pics were released. I guess it was damage control, although I am disappointed I was basically lied to.

None of us have seen the actual car. Also we don't know what stage that CAD drawing was...or if it's the final one some stuff may match but we don't know the details. I am waiting for the real thing.

Also, both Jalopnik and keeks showed us the butt of the ZR1, not the base car. What will be different on the car we see in January?
