Gen V.......Atkinson cycle engine???
One of the rumors floating around is that GM might employ a modified atkinson cycle engine over the traditional Otto cycle. The engine is most certainly going to have some form of VVT so this does make sense especially if they are going for increases in fuel economy. The higher compression ratio would help to offset the loss in power density.
