While there are a lot of folks who think GM could have waited longer to start, I'm sure not one of those folks. I think it is about time GM started the strip tease and yet, there isn't much to it yet. A logo that looks just like we thought it would, that fits the Omega mold, doesn't tell those of us on CF much but it does tell those not so vigilant that the logo looks very similar to the C6's logo. The video of the logo is cool but short and doesn't tell us anything other than that GM can do an old-looking ESPN Sports Center-looking animation.
I'm sure the videos to come are going to be well done like some of the Caddy pieces we've seen. There will also be some filler on Facebook and Twitter that will help those crowds.
I did like this quote by Tadge Juechter, Corvette chief engineer, as it said SOMETHING about the car itself...

Criswell is lucky to have you on their team!
...and it's our 23rd Wedding Anniversary and my Daughter's Senior Night and last Home High School Volleyball Game!!...and about a dozen other things on our plate.

There's really not going to be much shared from the C6 in the C7, I'm very sure. Of course the transmission will be in the back, and of course there will be flags on the steering wheel. Aside from that, I believe the car will actually be seen as a revolution.

Ironic that her '4dr sedan' has a sports car style steering wheel.
I'm optimistic on the overall picture

Obviously the Corvette team is not superstitious either.
