Default Tires

With the only carry over from the C6 being a latch and the cabin air filter, any speculation on the tires. I am sure hoping we aren't saddled with Goodyear r/f's again.

The factory run flats aren't bad, I made it to 51,256 miles on them. They were quite worn but still rode fine.

Unfortunately, all GM has to do is change the tire size or tread design, etc and they can claim it as a new part, even though it's still a BadYear.

But, one can hope for a miracle.

Not to get off track, but how in the world could you get 51,256 miles out of Goodyear runflats?

They likely will be Goodyear runflats on the base car. But if so, I'm betting that they will be much improved over the current offerings as it had to bother Goodyear that GM/Chevrolet turned to Michelin for their 'upmarket' Corvette C6 models, so Goodyear will probably want to save some face.

I </3 runflats. But I'll run them for a year anyway. Why? Because new tires are expensive. LOL

I wonder what kind of tire options they'll have. The C6 performance trims had tire options for stickier tires... That would be my choice since I have a daily driver.
