Half the pistons will be cast and half will be forged. Those that believe that the recent Hot Rod Magazine article on the LT1 is 100% factual about their(HRM) horsepower dreams, will see that HTM said the LT1's pistons are made from the same aluminum that the LSA's and LS9's pistons are made of.
But, if HRM is on the ball, they would know that the LSA has cast pistons and the LS9 has forged pistons, so I seriously doubt if both are made from the same exact aluminum alloy. For HRM to be 100% factual, some of the LT1's pistons will be cast and some will be forged.

I just don't get the whole 3-dimentional tail light thing... But maybe GM doesn't care whether I "get it" or not.
To be honest, I actually kinda like the C7 (rendering) ....

I'm going to have a bumper sticker made for my new C7... " NOT A CAMARO"
Maybe this will ward off all the future comments from onlookers...."Is that the new Camaro?"

Thank goodness...
There hasn't been a NEW C7 rear end/tail light thread started in at least 24 hours, I was beginning to think we would start talking about something boring, like dry sump lubrication being an option on the base car. Now, the planets have re-aligned, and we can go back to the IMPORTANT part of the C7....the rear end.
