Default I like it!!!

I just checked out the new C&D at the magazine stand. I really like the views and the details that they have given in the article. The only thing I don't care for is their rendition of the dreaded back, but if you look at the bumper manufacturer's video stills, you can plainly see the recess for the actual lights are ROUND. so I think that the bumper/lights deal will be a non-factor in the end. ( I really think the lights are going to be like the newer mustang lights with the halo effect!)But overall, I think it's a kick butt progression in the corvette line, to me much better looking than the C5 corvettes were when they debuted.
And as an aside, I really would like to know how many complainers about the design are actually, really, seriously able and wanting to buy one of these new 2014 corvettes? I have a 1995, and the C5's are just now coming down to my price range, so a new one isn't in my near future. I love all corvettes, because they are corvettes, but there are ones I wouldn't own if given to me, just saying..........

Every car has a view (or views) that is not attractive. Look at the Ferrari F12 for example, and there are a few parts that I personally think are butt ugly. Yet, I'd take one...

I think the front of the C7 is really good, really like the side view, and wish the rear were not so busy. However, overall it is a damn good looking car (IMHO). I believe it will handle fantasticlally, burn its rear tires at my will, brake phenomenally, and have a world class interior.

We are going to be very lucky when it arrives.

Oh look, YET ANOTHER "I just saw the new Car & Driver and this is what I think" thread LOL.
Apparently you didn't feel as this (and yes, your opinion on the topic is just as valued as anyone else's ) like this could've simply been posted/attached to one of the other FIVE 'new Car & Driver issue' threads already running in this very same section of the board?

First, if I want to post the same thing in a new thread everyday of the week, I will......does the "rofl" make it seem less sarcastic and hateful?
Second, 99.9 % of the comments made are negative towards the new Corvette, I wanted to start a thread thaat was a little more possitive from the outset.
Third,I wanted to know how many complainers and whiners about the new design were actually ABLE to pony up and buy one of these, as opposed to being all fired up over something they won't purchase,at least for a long time if ever.
As I said, I can't and won't buy one for fiscal reasons, but I haven't seen a thread asking who is going to get one ( granted, I don't spend all of my time on the internet or this site, and I can't and won't read everythread) , just alot of threads about things that , in my opinion , really don't say whether or not you want to or can buy one. Just " would you if the carbon fiber wrapped around the balsa wood for the floor pan was wrapped diagonally as opposed to logitudinally" buy one..................................:ac k:
