Fun thread! If this turns out to be the real deal, I think it looks great! The diffuser painted black makes the back end look 100 times better IMO. This should be the way they make it to begin with. I also love the lowered rear end look, makes it look kinda like a Daytona car! Awesome!
Wow, I really like the C3-like LED lights on this. It really improves the look. I can start to overlook some of the other weird looking things on the back with those lights.

I agree. This looks so much better. I hope the aftermarket gives us this option.
We been complaining about the rear end, the renderings are wrong. Look at the rear of the camo car; the rear quarter panel sides are too vertical. You can see the exhaust area, lower surround and bottom edge, the rendering doesn't match. The amazing thing, this area is in plain view, the exhaust surround is out in the open. These changes will have a huge impact on the look of the rear end.

The thing is, there's a lot of padding under the canvas wrap, and probably even large cardboard pieces taped to the body before the wrap goes on. Getting any clue as to the size & shape of body curves and/or angles is impossible. Notice when a number of the test mules are in an area like a parking lot, they all look different...
Second: If the rear ends up with the cameroesk tailights, the first guy who offers "four round led light" replacement mod will be on the cover of Forbes by years end.
A lot of you guys keep trying to consider the rear end rendering might be slightly off and the slight modification might make a world of difference. I hope you are right because for me it is unattractive and will take a lot to make it look good for me.

Just sayen....
Could end up being a VERY popular mod to fix the rear tail lights (maybe the forum vendors are listening)...
Those tail lights keep making me think they belong on a Pontiac or something.

The tail lights will not change, just as the exposed head lights stayed and no one made a kit to change hem. There are rabid fans on his forum who truly care about our beloved Corvette. I understand the dislike of the new lights. The car will be a hit with the market. The tail lights will not be an issue. With an I proving economy Chevrolet will sell everyone hey can build.
All Corvettes are beautiful. You do not need to buy a new one. Drive with pride.
