Man that's a depressing tune.
Blackout kit would be like putting a bag over a butter face.

Really? Hmmm please show me the actual car not pictures and renderings. I love the rear from the artist drawings and I think it will be awesome when people actually see it live. But please show me the real car...Where have you been?

I think a change over kit that puts C7 taillights on a C6 would be a hit. Would up date the cars for a better look.

Same apprehensions that preceded the C5 and the C6. I can recall the outcry against the C5 rear end, yet at the end of the line everyone loved the car and were complaining about the lack of pop-up headlights on the C6.
I recall some statement from a GM engineer some years ago when he was asked which was his favorite Vette and he replied the most recent one. As I recall each series has been an improvement over the previous series.

I'll save some money and put a Camaro taillight kit on my C6. All joking aside,
I agree can't really pass judgement till 1.13.13

I agree, it's time for some friendly Corvette loving banter on the C7 forum.

A few mods could help it a little bit...
* Separate the tail lights.
* Clean up the rear bumper by removing (filling in) the horizonal groove (rear bumper ditch) and the rear bumper vents.

I like this better then the predictions. However, I think what you just did here was not really a mod but rather a "replace your bumper".
