Default USB port

Geeze ................... I sure hope they include a lowly USB charging port. Even the Sonic service loaner I'm driving has one. My C6 doesn't. Just realized that when I had to buy one of those lighter to USB plug in's for the Lightning cord.

I hope so, maybe a micro and mini USB as well? That would cover most mobile devices such as phones, GPS, PDA, tablets and the like.
Personally I would be happy with a standard USB charging port, but who knows if everything will go micro/mini USB or God knows what in the next few years.

Hopefully it's not conceiled by the ash-tray door. I used mine for about the 10'th time total since I got the car and it then failed to stay shut.

Hopefully the USB part will also allow you to play music from it, or allow you to transfer playlists to your car's internal memory.

I'm sure it will. My wifes Chevy Cruze has a USB port so I would think the C7 would.. I agree with ~Stingray, Hopefully you can plug an iPod into the USB port and change the song & display the track name directly on the dash.

Yeah that's one thing I'm not looking forward to getting back into my 08Z here in 2 weeks... lack of USB interface.

My 2012 Kia Rio (don't laugh it was cheap/affordable/good mpg) has a USB port that can read straight from an ipod or memory stick. I bought one of those super small keychain 16GB sticks and dumped all my music on there. Super cool.

Love my Z but it's going to suck having to actually burn CD's again

Somebody could make some money with a retro fit USB kit.

Yeah, that's a great feature of our '12 SRT8 Charger. Put a large flashdrive in the USB and 1000's of songs at your fingertips.
