It'd be very cool if it was that low and wide, but I think they're a little optimistic.
The other thing I've been seeing on other images is that the driving lights appear to me to be thin lines of LEDs on either side of the center grill bar. This one has more conventional lenses in the corners.
I like the idea of the LEDs better, if that really is what I'm seeing and works worth a darn.
This is indeed more Corvette looking than what GM is going to dump on us in a few days. Tragically Jalopnik got the car right a year and a half ago already and this aint it. Hopefully the redesign will resemble this rendering when un sold C7s start stacking up on Dealers lots. This is the more shark looking design I was hoping for it takes a bit more style from the Sting Ray concept without being a toon car.

It looks like a typical t-shirt or garage poster illustration -- exaggerated lines and proportions toward show-car norms, more than supermodel airbrushing but less than cartoon.

That render has taken significant liberties in relation to the mules we've seen. First, the roof is chopped, .... The rear rubber is Z06/ZR1 wide, which we have not seen on the mules, .... The wheels/tires are flushed out to the extreme edges of the wheel wells which is not seen on the mules, ... The body is lowered radically. Very exotic looking, wish it were true, but this is almost day and night from reality.
Guys, this isn't even close to the leaked image of the front end direct from the GM site.
It sure isn't. Note:, you can see the LED's on either side of the lower grill on this drawing. I sure hope there are LED's also in the headlight group cause just adding a strip down in the grill looks like those aftermarket LED strips AutoZone sells.

I think the roof looks a lot more chopped because of the very low angle it is 'shot' from and the lack of camo accentuates that. The rubber is wider than it probably will be tho I would bet we will see the rubber out further than the C6. It is definitely lowered but not much more than we've seen C6 owners do.
