I read somewhere, I think Vette Magazine, starting at $55K. Bet it's more than that.

Base price: $92,000 until the Feds get their money back from the stock value. j/k. It will be as said above, "attainable." A direct quote from the "reveal."

im gonna say 53,900

then you got Z51, Magnetic Ride, Competition seats and a few others to add on

also im still not conveinced all that carbon is standard. i dont get out they put all that in a 55K car it looks like prepreg dry carbon ( the good stuff)

i would say OTD for the one i intend to order will be knocking on the door of 65K

It's "whom."

I suspect someone who can afford the current generation will be able to "stretch" a bit for the new one. It'll be "attainable" in comparison to a Ferrari or Lambo.

Don't expect to see the "official" MSRP until after the car hits the showroom floors; in the past, if you wanted to be first in line, you had to have the ***** to buy the car without knowing what it would cost you.

From Car and Driver interviews, the price target is the same as the current car. So it might go up but not much.

I would LOVE to see a $53,000 base price, but I don't think it will happen with all of that carbon fiber.

Default Price????

it will depend on the dealer's if they will be tacking on a surcharge or not.
Most of the older folk will step out first because they have less time on top of the ground. Then the baby boomer's before the sales level off
and then the dealer's will get back to the MSRP and then the discounts
will appear.

My c5 will hit 25,000 miles next year so it will be time to sell it and move up to the c7 unless it get's too pricey.

I hope you guys are right low $60k is attainable, Im a pretty good plumber haha! I will wait till it goes on sale a little below MSRP. It looks awesome but I refused to pay a $10-15k dealer markup. Guess I will be driving the c6 for a little while longer.

Base $55k will really mean 65k...by the time u add the better seats, magnetic ride control, NAV, carbon fiber roof and CF interior pieces.
