everyone bitched the C6 looked to much like the C5...."we want something different, Chevy dropped the ball...no radical changes...blah blah blah..."

Thats exactly it. Most of the "haters" are c6 owners upset that they now own yesterdays news and now have an incredibly outdated car in terms of technology and looks.

Looks to be a vast increase in technology. And they will have more powerful ones ahead. The car is a bargain if it comes in at 55 my GS sticker in 96 was 49 or 50 and that is a long time ago.

it seems like MR. vette and MRS. camaro had a few drinks one nite and well... didnt use protection and now we have a c7, as much as we are not feeling it right now it will grow on us.

I want an orange vert with black trim, and plan to keep it in my garage with the 427 vert that I have no regrets buying. totally different car to me, in a good way.
