Sadly and I hate to admit it, I had similar thoughts.. I may change my mind though. They are distinguishing. I wonder if they will be carried over to the Z06 or Z07 model??

yea, +1 they look out of place..
also, i don't know about the chrome corvette lettering on the rear bumper.

The Corvette lettering is coming off too. Or at least Plasti Dipped

I would definitely take the stingray emblem off as well. They just don't go. I could see if they were trying to be nostalgic, but I don't think the old school vettes even had them.

Almost identical looking fish emblems were on the original 1959 Sting Ray. They didn't stick them on any of the prodcution Sting Rays(C2) or Stingray(C3), so I can't figure out for the life of me, why they pulled them from out of a dusty parts bin to stick them on the C7.

I guess they figured that would keep us old timers happy(time travel back to 1959), and overlook all the stuff we don't like on the C7.
