I have yet to see any cost figures. Where did you see that this will be available for under $60,000.00? Damn.. I was looking at a 2013 427 Convertible up here last week, and they're asking $114,000.00 for it.. 60 Grand???

NAH. It's a bold new look. The C4 to C5 to C6 was a boring unimaginative evolution. It offended nobody yet was uninspiring. Chevy stepped outside the box with this design with a REVOLUTIONARY change. When the c2 hit people HATED it. No trunk hide away headlights bold fender brows. C3 same thing the shark look was hated by old school Vette owners. Same thing with the C7 but it's going to turn out to be the most beautiful design since that sexy C2. HOME RUN!!

The car overall is nice, but very busy.
The rear of the car is definitely it's weak point...more like a strike out than a homerun.
Later on, in person, it might be a walk, then a single, much later a double, triple, then an inside the park homerun.......maybe.......but a homerun.....right off the bat out back....no

I kinda like the way it looks from the side and front. A little too many edges though. Maybe if they were toned down just a little it would be better. The back I just can't get myself to like it at all.
Overall I am just kinda 'meh' about it; kinda like it and kinda don't.
My wife doesn't like the look of it at all.
I was hoping I would just love it from the start. Maybe it will grow on me some. For now I am still liking our C6 GS better and will keep it for awhile. Wife had no problems saying if I liked the C7 and wanted one we could trade for one but I would rather just keep what we have.

C7 Reveal
Like many, I was skeptical about the design of the new C7, particularly regarding the rearend and tail light treatment. I worried for nothing
because GM has knocked it out of the park. All those that haven't seen
the forty four minute reveal video posted on you tube check it out. It is worth watching. The base C7 model doesn't have the plain jane appearance of the current C6, it has the flare of the current Z06 and ZR1 model. I own an 07 C6 Z06 and I wish my budget would allow me to own two because I would be adding a new C7 to my garage! Technically you can't deny the new car is a better car and the interior goes without saying. The new looks may be polarizing to some, but I'm one that loves it and I think it will grow on those that are undecided now. I'm with LoneStarV 100% on this!

Op I really like the way the c7 looks in the videos but calling the 458 ugly!!!?? You must be out of your damn mind. There's much to like about this car IMO but idk if it validates a 20% premium over the current base msrp. Start adding the z51 package, track seats etc. I see the c7 creep up to a high price.

With out a doubt at all I LOVE THE NEW C7 .. WELL DONE GM .. thats my story and im sticky to it .. I even like the rear ... IMO i dont think they could have done a better job .. different yes .. but not "better" ... I WILL be buying one ... once a healthy inventory at my local dealer becomes available ... or hell I might have to special order.... but i would preferred slightly used .. we shall see --also . can some one please give me a list of the colors available .. is that out yet ?

I like the exterior design, the interior looks like quality materials throughout, and the rear design is growing on me. HOWEVER, to me Corvettes are all about performance, ride, handling, and stopping power.
They say the C7 generation is a quantum leap in ride, handling and track performance and I can't wait to test drive one later this year. I'm reserving my full opinion until I drive one, but for now I'm giving it an 8 out of 10. I think this will be one of the best selling Corvettes of all time once people get a chance to drive it.
