Hope Bowling Green paint shop is up to the task
Bowling Green (and GM in general) is notorious for mismatched-to-body front and rear fascias. Especially bad with metalic colors like silver, but I've even seen it on Torch Red cars.
When viewed for the side, the C5's rear fascia is really wide, so when the color is off, it really looks like sh*t. The C6's is much narrower, so the visual impact is subdued. But with the C7 Chevy has made the side-view impact of the rear fascia even greater that the C5. Damn, they better match or it will be a deal breaker for me. And I would never order a car -- BG's hit or miss paint matching standards are just too spooky -- and I wouldn't want the hassle of refusing a car that shows up looking crappy.
