Color makes the difference
They unveiled the wrong color combo. The black wheels are ridiculous, makes the car look like a kids Japanese tuner car. All the street tuned Hondas and Nissans, the kids put on black wheels. If you see the C7 with black paint and chrome wheels version or the dark grey with painted wheels, it looks a hell of a lot better--real nice. In fact in the video release they had a black C7 behind the red one, only in the dark. Maybe those bosses figured they would try to appeal to the young crowd with those black tuner wheels. I like it-could it have been better, probably so. but I guess I will get one eventually but without those stupid black wheels.

Nothing wrong with trying to appeal to different crowds. Money is money, it doesn't matter where it comes from. Corvette/Chevy isn't Ferrari and doesn't select who can and can not buy their cars. They want to appeal to the masses and they have. Red is what most people think of when they think "Vette." Black wheels will help pull in the younger crowds.

I am not a fan of black wheels on a C6 either. Chrome wheels look to gaudy. Best choice is either painted silver or completion gray. Right now I'm going with the Z51 painted silver, got over a year to decide.

<--- 43 and I like black wheels, sometimes.. sometimes IMO it doesn't work. Same with chrome, and the many other shades wheels can be painted or polished. To each his/her own.

Why isn't Carbon Flash a color option if it's going to be a diffuser color option? I'd rather have black as the diffuser color if the exterior is going to be black. And the diffuser should have all the colors available as well, I think it looks better.
