'Too wide, too long, horrible ride , where do they keep getting these cheap plastics from, the back end is rubbish'.......
That's just to name a few complaints of theirs.
Also a few harsh words about leaf springs. Then the Stig will test it on their track and it will pull better lap times than 2/3rds of the other autos with more power and higher price tags.

They will bash the hell out of it all program, and then stig will lap it and it will smoke everything (even with him doing time-wasting, rediculously awesome powerslides), and then Jeremy will say "and on that bombshell.. good night!" and end the show.

I will add that I've seen some people on here the last couple days bashing top gear because they think the crew really does not like American cars but I need to say that it's an entertainment show first and foremost and is tongue and cheek when making fun of our cars. Jeremy makes fun of 911s more then corvettes.

Melting Slicks
Jeremy will inevitably press on the back end, and tell the audience how the car is made of "plastic" and how flimsy it is. And mention leaf springs, and how such springs were used on ox carts in the 18th Century. And mention how the Corvette is made by overweight UAW workers in Kentucky. And mention how cheaply made it is, and how primitive the engine is (pushrods).
I think that just about covers it.

I fear many of you simply do not understand the show. To the above comment, which one of those things you listed isn't true?
FYI: Jeremy Clarkson named the ZR1, in his opinion, the best car of 2008.

Jeremy will hate it because it's American.
Capt Slow will like some things, but will ask the inevitable question, "Was it tested at the Nurburgring?"
Hammond will love it, because he's the only pro-American guy on the show. He loves his American muscle cars.

Love the show-- Can't wait to see that episode...
Jeremy will no doubt joust a small detail like this:
"And those hollow trapezoid taillights are absolutely and simply dreadful!"
Then 3 minutes later he'll be grinnning ear to ear as he's pushing the car to its limits, reminding all of us what it's really about-- the driving experience.
Speaking of taillights, if you don't like them, just think; it's the guy you just passed who will have to look at them!

They've always had good things to say about the vettes, but have also had plenty of critiques as well (many of the same critiques you see here....horrible HORRIBLE seats, bland/cheap interiors, leaf springs instead of coil-overs, numb handling, etc...) They have always acknowledged the performance prowess of the vette and how good it looked.
Their complaints this time will be leaf springs (still) and the camaro rear-end. Not knowing a lot about the rest of the car I can't comment on what I believe they'll complain about.
I do know this though...you can find a lot of truth in what they say if you know how to look past the fact that it's an entertainment show first and see what they're really saying.
