Something is wrong with me!
There must be something wrong with me.The popular opinion of the 2014 Vette is its a GM goof up. I personally love it.I have only seen pictures of it,but I really think it is great.I will say that it reminds me of the new Cadillacs,but thats my personal taste which my girl friend says is horrible.Oh well.I'll probablybuy one when they come out and join the minority.

And where is the C7 section under communities? I personally think C7 comments should remain in the C6 section till such time as C7's are actually shipped! Of course, that would be for moderators to decide.
In addition, there are far too many "I hate C7" topics already on the C6 board, let alone the I "HATE CAMARO TAILIGHTS" comments. Get over it, GM is not going to change them just because some of you dislike them. There will be more than enough folks that will buy the car regardless of the tailights....

It's only the "popular opinion" among (mostly) current corvette owners who are expressing their opinions on a forum. Particularly some butthurt C6 owners who don't like not having the latest model anymore.
Sure, the C7 will drive people away from the corvette brand, but it will attract even more new people.
On other forums I'm on, the prevailing opinion is "this is the first vette I've ever liked."

How about if you don't like it you don't buy it.pretty simple.don't complain, just don't buy.if you believe that gm doesn't care what you say then actions speak louder than words.if no one buys it then they might notice.

I think it is great and leaves the past in the dust. You still have the people who lover the C2s even though in comparison they are pieces of junk as is any other 50 year old car.

However, the difference between "I'd have done things a bit differently there" and "goof-up" is huge. This is looking like a very desirable car that will be a huge hit (fingers crossed).

I like the car plenty.
Although mpg is important to me I'm concerned that the rumored horsepower levels (kind of low) and the narrow tires are about the EPA, not performance.
That said, over the lifetime of this car fuel could easily average $5/ gallon so great mpg is a huge selling point and operational expense for those that intend to daily drive our C7s.
