I e-mailed the artist rendering of the C7 conv to my wife at work to get her thoughts. Here's her reply:

"Looks good with the top down, but wonder how it would look with the top up. I like the extra side windows in the coupe. Besides, I think we should hold out for a ZR1 next time. Yahoo!!! ;-)"

Gotta love her.

Gotta love her.
She's smart, she's counting on no ZR1 being made in the C7 , but snow balled you into not buying a new vette as you now think you have permission to buy a Zr1 C7

Pictures of a camoflaged convertible, with its top up were circulated some time ago.

The top looked an awful lot like the C5/C6 top.

If you saw the sig pic you would have seen the 2013 427 convertible we just bought in September. We will most likely sell the 06 to get a C7 ZR1 if one does indeed get built. She's the reason I got into Vettes in the first place. I was old school musclecar until it got too expensive to maintain them.
