Museum Delivery, in my opinion, is one of the best options available on the Corvette. If one chooses to take delivery at the museum, it is their responsibility to get their car to it's final destination. I've had plenty of Texans enjoy the drive home from Bowling Green.

Thanks, Wes. I definitely plan to drive it home. Did Route 66 in my C6 - will probably do it again in my C7.

I'm gonna have to put you in my inbox so that if I order the C7, I know exactly who to contact. You seem to be a stand up dealer.

Plan to use USAA program discount if I go with a Vette ( or whatever I buy) They guarantee a specific price over invoice or under MSRP.
No gouging with them.

You're right, the USAA Program is a good way to go when purchasing a car. They help a customer by offering them GM Supplier Pricing minus another $750 rebate along with any current rebates available at the time of purchase. My guess though, is that they will exclude the new Corvette from the program. Don't get me wrong, I hope they include the new C7 in the program. I'm thinking it might be a little while before it's added to the available cars.
I really think sticking with Forum dealers when you're ready to buy is the way to go though.
Example:
2013 Convertible 427
MSRP: $88,135
USAA Price: $75,925 using Customer Cash & Corvette Loyalty
My Forum Price: $72,338 using Customer Cash, Corvette Loyalty
if you don't currently own a Corvette you would lose the $3,000 Loyalty Rebate but gain the $750 USAA Rebate
I might be off by just a little bit on the USAA price, but I'm pretty close.
New C-7
Wall Street Journal wrote that GM expects a low production
this year.
Most of the year will be lost just setting up the production line. Two or three months of production? Surprised that the Corvette wasn't introduced as a 2015 and a production run of a 1 1/2 years. Would not have a 2014 model. Guess they didn't want to duplicate 1983 again. The line is not up and running, yet. We'll see.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
