Default C7 drag coefficient ?

The base C6 has a 0.28 drag coefficient to 0.34 for I think the Z06/ZR1 & GS I think?. Has the C7 numbers been reported?

I think I saw .30 listed somewhere. I don't put too much faith in what GM says about Cd's. The C5 was .29. Then the came out with the C6 and it was .287. The original Cd on the Z06 was .31 but Gm later changed it to .34, without any changes done to the car to increase drag.

Independent back to back tests of all six generations in a wind tunnel that is used by most of the NASCAR teams, showed that the C5 coupe actually had a lower Cd then the C6 coupe. All were done in the same wind tunnel by the same people, so not like comparing acceleration of different cars on different tracks on different days driven by different people, etc.

I just hope that its a no-lift car like the ZL1. They should be able to that with a clean sheet design.

That was one of the main weaknesses of the C6 in any body form. Too much lift.

I've had my C6 Z06 to 162 on the track, and no matter how hard I pulled back on the sterring wheel, the damn car refused to lift off.

Yeah, a lot of the performance numbers seem to be written by the marketing department.

When the Z06 came out for 2001 with 385 hp, they claimed 3.9 0-60.
But with similar weight and 436 hp, the C6 only claims 4.1

I saw .30 somewhere in all the fun articles and videos over the last week. It won't equal the C6 due to it's dimensions from what I heard.
