What shade of red is interior pic more accurate
For those who saw the C7 in person, which shade of red is more accurate? There are two photos that show very different tonal values to the red and the Chevy site with the seat colors show the red even darker than the second photo. Allowing for lighting, camera flash, etc. it is hard to figure out which is more accurate. In the end I will have to see the real thing before I am sure. Your thoughts?

Unfortunately, it looks to be a bright red. I wish it would more resemble a darker brick red like the website pics.

This is the sample on the wall at the show.
The red in the photo's above is way to bright. Its much closer to the color on the sampled in the photo below.

Here is a photo of the red interior they had on display at the show.
It was impossible to get a good photo becase it behind glass and it reflected glare from the flash. Its not a bright red or a dark red either. Its somewhere in between.
I am considering red interior with Cyber Gray exterior.. But I haven't seen the blue yet. I'd get the tan and blue if it looked good. However, a dark color hides the black bezels around the scoops and tail lights.

I don't want a bright red interior in the first photo. I was/am hoping it is closer to the third pic of just the seats. I could live with the second photo.
Your pics looks somewhate duller in sheen if you know what I mean.

The top one.
Here is a pic from Reveal night
The interior buck didn't get enclosed until Industry day. It was open on Monday. Here is a photo.

My 08 is called cobalt red and the 2014 is called adrenalin red, it looks darker to me which i am considering for my CRM C7.
This is my 08, dealer did not think the color combo, CRM with Red/BK int, would look good till they actually saw it in person. people like it when they see it
I hope this is a more accurate pic of what we can get

wow, there is that much orange in it making it a warmer red than the cooler red I was hoping for. Might have to re visit my choices and go with saddlestone or kalahari. As long as I tend to keep cars, I don't think I can live with that shade of red for very long.

The bright red makes it look cheap.

Yeah, something is a miss....the reveal car which was also at Barrett Jackson is a bright red almost orange tint, saw it in person.
The red on the brochure is a brick / toned down red which I think looks much better....hope GM gets the right one!

My advice, go see the car & colors yourself. Colors look different, and appear differently in photos, and under different light (sunny, cloudy, various types of artificial lights like florescent, etc.). Then the processing of digital photos & video influences their appearance dramatically. And lastly, your computer monitor, smart phone or tablet, and even the web browser you are using, have an influence on the color.
So asking strangers to describe a color, a subjective topic itself, looking at photos that may appear differently to each viewer, is at best going to be hit or miss. Someone may give you the right answer, you just won't know who it is.
Cheers,
JB

changing subjects, I see three speakers on the dash, then I see what appears to be additional speakers on the corner of the dash on the drivers/passenger side of the car. I then assume there are bigger speakers in the lower door panel. Holy speakers Bat Man. can't wait to sit and hear the new audio system.
