it is, slightly rediculous how utterly excited i am about this car.

the last time it happened was when i had access to the CAD data for the camaro concept back in `06. that led to being glued to the production version. which led to being glued to the creation timeline of #3081.

Mike, later down the line when the order banks and allocations start up; how much tracking capability do you usually have (for example with a c6) once an order has been placed?

with the 2SS i ordered, it was great as i could keep up with each code as it progressed from just an order to delivery.

I will be able to follow the Corvette thru GM's dealer world. I most certainly will be able to keep all my customers updated as each order moves along in the build process. Plus it also helps knowing several people at the plant etc...

Me Likey !!!

As a i believe it has to be 6 months old, and 7500 miles on it before I could buy it. Or you could lend it to Chris Callaway for the weekend

Although the C7 looks interesting, have to wait and see one in person. But a Callaway, the looks, horsepower.

And thanks for your posts and pictures, it helps to keep the Corvette
dream alive, as I wander down the frozen back lane to see how my 08 3LT vert is doing.

Great video, thanks for posting. I'm putting my deposit down next month and I sure as hell hope the dealership doesn't try to rape me, anything north of 65 and I'm out.

I'd say you took quite a risk there, Mike...

picking-up their daughter in a 20+ yr old car, not knowing whether or not they were "car folk" ...

lucky they didn't tell her to go find a guy with a better job who could afford something new...

(been there, done that...! )

At the time I owned 11 Musclecars and was driving a company car as well...plus her Father was very interested in the old cars...never a doubt.
