What? You can put remote start in any car, anywhere anytime. If GM does it like some other manufacturers it will be an app for your smart phone probably tied into an onstar subscription.Only for automatics...something along these lines I would imagine.FACTORY remote start is a big pain compared to after market where you just push the button once or twice.FACTORY,YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THE DOORS ARE LOCKED,WINDOWS UP,HOOD CLOSED ETC ETC...

It's listed with the 6 speed auto trans. Not available on manuals.

I'm sure it will operate similar to my 2011 Equinox. Push lock on the key fob then push the start button. Done.

Plus with the OnStar App you can remote start the car from anywhere on your smartphone like from inside a restaurant when it's 0 degrees out. It even confirms when the car is running. Plus you can check your fuel level, mileage, oil life percent and tire pressures on your phone. Very handy.

I love the latest ad - planes lands, fire up iPhone, fire up car, get into warm car. Just flew back to IAD last night. Was cold as hell, I was freezing by the time I got bags loaded in the hatch and fired the motor up. Having to wait 5 minutes for the seats to even get warm made it worse. Would be sweet but I'm definitely a manual transmission kinda guy so won't be an option
