Default Differential ratio?

Now that the C7 has gone to a 7 speed manual trans does any one know what the rear end ratio is compared to the manual C6?

My recollection is that it is 3.42 : 1. Same as the C6.

Maybe they changed the internal transmission ratios to gear it down a little in the lower gears for better acceleration!

Nope. First through sixth ratios remain the same. They only added an extra overdrive gear to increase the highway gas mileage.

The Z51 transmission is geared lower across the board except 4th is 1:1 in both versions.
