With the C7 being a Completely new design, does anyone else think GM should/could have come out with different wheels for it?
Yes, there are endless aftermarket wheels to pick from and Style is subjective.
But I would have liked to see something OEM in a 7 or 8 spoke wheel, maybe even a 10 spoke.
Something like the style Callaway offers.
Not bashing, just thought the C7 OEM wheels would be more in line with the Complete makeover of the car
You'll need to wait for year 3 or 4 when GM will offer what you seek.
It's all about the upgrade steps and the very formal project life cycle plan they follow.

It is time for a change, they changed the car, now change the wheel. I mean they only had 4-5 years to come up with something new - not a bash, just a poke
Though, if the rim is black does it really matter what design it is, you really can't see the detail in them anyway. I blacked out all the chrome, including the rims on my grocery getter a 2011 CTS V, because I wanted something different, no sense having things look the same.

One war story------- what was the guy driving that you embarrassed most while driving the grocery getter? No details allowed---- against Forum rules.
First thing I thought of seeing the new C7 wheel.
I like the C7 wheel better, but at 1st glance not much difference
That red stripe may look good on the C7 wheels. The design of the C7 wheels go with the sharp edges of the car. A red stripe may give it a hint of the "Centennial look" which i like.

I chose a web design for one reason...the painted caliper is pretty bright and this hides it a bit but still visible:
TSW NURBURGRING $450 a wheel 23 lbs....
