C7 Emissions Sysstem

Is the C7 a 50 state car as far as emissions are concerned or is there a special emissions system for California?

The 2013 had a special RPO code for cars to be sold and registered in California, YF5. Since the options sheets have not been released for the 2014, it remains to be seen if that's still the case. To my knowledge the only difference was the emissions label and I've heard possibly more efficient CATS, but I'm not absolutely sure on the latter.

The California Emissions RPO is a baffling thing. Many or most C6s ordered without it still come with the California Emissions compliance sticker, and are, as far as I can tell, mechanically identical. Mine was ordered without the RPO, but it has the sticker, and it was first registered in California without any problem.

ON the C6 there were several state specific RPO codes for emissions, but the cars were identical. This will probably hold true for the C7, but that is conjecture at this point.
