Vert observation
Kind of wondering out loud.
With the new aerodynamics, how much difference will there be in wind buffeting with the top down?
I know, time will tell when it finally hits the street. That was one thing I hoped might be a little less in the C7.
If not, I guess there will be another opportunity for after market screens.
I'm just daydreaming waiting for the new C7 to hit the market.

The screens seem to be universal on two seat convertibles. Some build them in like MB.

My guess; no difference than previous Corvettes.

Here's a wild thought: Are you guys familiar with the "air scarf" system on Benz convertibles? When driving on cool days with the top down it blows warm air on your neck. Maybe some of the hot air expelled from the C7 hood vent will make its way into the cockpit and warm the occupants on those cool days...

From: Calgary, AB. There's a reason why white was the only color offered on every year Corvette. Proud Canadian German Jamaican!

when I have the top down and am cruising at higher speeds there is not too much buffeting at all.

I don't see a significant difference between the C6 & C7 in this regard.

And blast hot air on those hot days.

You're probably right. Just hoping the rake of the windshield may add a different dynamic.
I want the vert, but the coupe sure is compelling.

wrong one
If you are concerned with wind buffeting, the convertible is not for you. We did 475 top down miles at 75+ in our C6. You get a purple heart for that.

When I drive my dad's C5 vert on the freeway, there's hardly any need at all for a wind screen.

I have a C6 vert and if I wear a baseball cap the wind buffeting is ok. If I let the wind blow through what's left of my hair it is a little uncomfortable.

Ditto in the coupe with the top removed!
