Having made the decision that I really REALLY like the new C7, the bad mouthing of the "camaro tailights" on the new vette began to bother me.
So, at the risk of criticism, let me share this perspective: The iconic Vette's traditional rear end features two round tailights (brakelight & turn signal light) on each side of the car. Similarly, the C7's tailights follow the same pattern of two lights on each side although the shape is different (I think its called "rhomboidal" as opposed to round.) This carries on with the same general layout as the iconic cars, yet is more modern and bold looking. Hey, the jump from C2 to C3 was bold for its day. And so it was with the introduction of each new generation.
Aside from the tailight/styling issues, the technological advances in the C7 are numerous and should result in very noticeable performance improvements. Advancement is good.
Disagree if you wish, its a free country. But I bet Chevy/ GM is going to sell a lot of them. I certainly hope so.

Whomever said they didn't like the Camaro taillights on the C7? I think the Comoro Taillights look great on the Cimaro, and I think the Cemaro taillights look great on the C7. I've liked the rear of the C7 since the first day. It reminds me of Kim Kardashian with taillights. Only smaller.
I have heard that Camero owners are unhappy that Tadge slapped their taillights on the C7. Most Camiros are just big slobbering muskox like vehicles, except that 650hp model that can kick the **** out of any Vette, at least in a straight line, that is if you can drive it in a straight line flat out.
