We know they are all GM vehicles but after looking at 3 of them well you make up your mind:
The C7 has lots of angles and I think round would look out of place. They probably should have done something with the exhaust.
Then there is the Z28
And the everyday Camaro.
Do you really think the C7 lights looks like the Camaro? Not even close IMO. OK they're both Red.
BTW these are fron today at the NY Auto Show.

To me it resembles it slightly but what really irritated me was the change of the rear. I don't mind GM experimenting but the iconic circle taillights have been around forever and to me are the signifying mark of a corvette at a distance.
It's not that I think its a bad car, it just isn't for me with the more euro style look in general. I'm not not in the same age group as many here being just a few months shy of 28 but I love corvettes for what they are as well as the classic look they have managed to somewhat maintain.
As it stands, I still have four previous generations to buy anyways so a C7 isn't in my forecast any time soon anyways.

I like the rear end and don't see the Camaro influence at all anymore. I thought I did at first but every subsequent look has made me love the car more and more, including the rear end. Can't wait to see it in person!

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
GM has really stirred the pot with this whole tailight thing if you ask my opinion - the fact that it is discussed so much tells me that they do look similar although not the same.

To answer the question, yeh, they do look similar or have enough similarities to evoke that impression.
But I am confused: did all the Camaro tail lights change for 2014? It looks like the "old" lights are being pictured in white as well as the Z28. The new tail lights for non-Z28 appear to be the Camaro in red. Is that correct?
