I'm up to three
Over 8 years on this forum and over 3500 posts. In those 8 years I never had anyone on my ignore list. In the last month alone, I have added three folks to my ignore list all due to posts those folks have made to the C7 forum.
It's like a free for all in here. Mods, I salute you all for what you have to put up with. A couple I have met in person and I wish I could again just to say I'm sorry for what they are having to put up with.
To all, if it doesn't settle down in here I wouldn't be surprised to see the mods take some sort of action. Healthy debate and exchange of divergent opinions is a good thing but the name calling and personal attacks are getting worse. Heck, we even have folks plagiarizing posts from other forums to post here. Where does it stop?
It is pretty rough in here, I agree. Maybe it's the maturity level of the new client base GM is trying to attract with the new C7 lol
Just kidding. I don't know, some people feel very strongly about certain things in here and when others don't agree, some take it personal for some reason and fire back and get defensive. Not all, not even most, but there are a select few.
It actually makes this forum one of the least fun I have ever been on... this isn't a Honda forum guys. More negativity, insults, personal attacks and general crap than I have seen in a long time. For someone new to Corvettes, it unfortunately doesn't make for a welcome to the club feel

Please stick around. What you've seen of late in C7 is not representative of the broad swath of this community.

If you read my OP closely, you will figure it out.
Oh right...you were whining about people....and this post has absolutely NOTHING or any info on the C7....It's just you crying about your ignore list. This forum is made for info on the C7, not for people to talk about their ignore list and how the C7 section has to do with them adding them.
I think you just have to expect that some don't quite get it. And then leave it at that. Or add more to your list.
I get that this thread has zero information in it about the C7.
I get that the OP had to create a ignore list after 8 years of being a member due to not liking other peoples opinions or attacks based on threads in the C7 section.
What I don't get is why the OP felt they needed to start a thread to tell everyone about it in the C7 section to just get along and to stroke the mods.
