Currently on the C6 you can elect for contrast stitching in either red, yellow or blue on 4LT/1SC combinations. On the C7 it appears that the stitching on the dash, steering wheel, shifter and shift boot are color keyed to the seat choice and not selectable. Ie even on 1LT pics in the order guide the red interior comes with red stitching, and Kalahari comes with yellow stitch. So I have questions:
A) can someone confirm that contrast stitching is automatic on every interior color choice regardless of trim level, and if so what are the colors for grey, black and the brownstone interiors?
B) will their be an option of alternative stitching colors, or if you get black interior are you stuck with whatever color stitch it comes with?
My questions are because, I've seen the yellow stitch on Kalahari and it looks awful; it's like on the new Xts where Cadillac has a brown interior with red stitching on the dash: it looks like a color blind person designed it. Second, I think a Laguna blue C7 vert would look awesome with a navy top, and blue stitching in either grey, black or even brownstone interior: so I really hope blue stitching is an option. Also, I think black on black Vettes with red or yellow calipers should be able to have a coordinated stitch to match the brakes.
One of the slides at a Bash seminar showed the stitching colors with each interior, maybe someone took a picture of it? Corvette never offered stitching options until late in the C6 run when sales got so slow. Right now they have to concentrate on maximizing production to satisfy demand for the new C7. Later on as demand eases you can count on more customization options.
Here is the 2LT interior. Looks like they just use the seat color stitching around the dash, one small area of the door panels, on the steering wheel and on the shifter **** / boot.
Of course, if you get black seats, I guess you will never see the stitching in these areas.
i asked this question directly of Ryan Vaughn, the interior design manager. no options for my 2014. there are a total of 3 stitching colors. Kalahari and brownstone get the exact same color, mohave. black and gray get the exact same, gray. and ad red gets torch red contrast(think it is named the same as ext. color.)

Thanks man, this was the info I was looking for. That Mohave looks a little too yellow to me, but what do I know, I'm no designer.
The light stitching throughout the black 2LT interior looks great. The GM guys called it gray but its a light gray so it appears almost white against the black leather.
then what is the $595 custom interior package (option) used for?
If you are referring to "D30 Custom Color and Trim Combinations ", that allows you to order interior color that is normally not allowed with your exterior color. For example, if you want the red interior with yellow exterior.
