That's kind of a tough one for me. Although I would prefer for the horsepower to be over 470, if the magazine car jockeys run the c7 in the quarter in the 11's and trap at or above 120, I'd accept a lower hp number. I use the magazine's as a reference as they are usually good for coming up with an average for performance versus owners who beat their times. Everyone wants the most hp, but to me the performance matters more if I can't have both in stock form.

Clearly, people have a number in mind at which (they say) they wouldn't pull the switch. That is what this poll seeks to find.
It is not necessarily a prediction of what they think it is going to be.
Being I ordered one I have to accept the estimate (450) as a minimum, but am anticipating more. If NPP adds 6 as in the past then you are above the minimum.
Bottom line for those that ordered and all others we will know when they tell us, but GM stated 450 est, hopefully more and no less.
Anything north of 450HP. That is the only real number we have and all anyone should be basing a buying decision on today IMO. Anything higher is gravy.
Having said that, I'm "hoping" for 460 to 470 but won't be upset if it doesn't get there because, IMO, it would be silly to be upset if they actually give us what they have already put on paper.
For those who wouldn't buy it because it lacks 20 extra hp, how many drive the cars to the limit? If you plan to track your car and that extra 20 hp is the difference between winning and losing then this would be a valid consideration. But for day to day and spirited road driving, the extra 50 lb-ft of torque up to 4000 RPM is far more useful than peak hp.
