I didn't know if it was possible to get the 1LT and add the HUD - as an after purchase dealer install? That is the only option above 1LT that I would really interested in.

I like the options in the 2LT package, but could live with the 1LT I'd I could just get the HUD.

I agree it looks like a high quality piece. After so much effort to provide a high quality interior GM wouldn't allow it to look bad without a $995 option.

Yes it's the 3LT but No it does not have the $995 carbon fiber option. The standard dash face is not cheap black plastic, it has a satin black slightly metallic looking finish. I checked it out at the Bash

The cheapest interior is still a decent upgrade over the C6. Many details (stitching, trim for example) are clearly done better. Biggest upgrade, though, for many Vette buyers is not so much the quality, but finally putting properly bolstered seats in the car. The last really good Vette seats were found in the '93 C4...

You are correct. I was referencing the 360 degree picture posted by MKenM. Sorry I didn't make that clear!

To be honest i can see the point that some have brought up asking if the 3LT is worth the price ($8,000) or just a profit maker... I could be very happy with the 1LT. I really dont use most of the extra techno stuff on cars anyway. Give me a pretty good stereo/CD player, power door locks and windows and im pretty much happy.
But i do like the "seat colored" dash pieces, door panels, and console lid on the 3LT.
But even if buyers dont get the 3LT, you know those leather wrapped interior parts will be available pretty quick from the vendors.
It will be cool to see what the Interior Vendors come up with for the C7. Probly more carbon pieces and more custom leather wrapped C7 parts.

It's disappointing that in the 3LT version you can't pick out the thread. That to me means it's not really a bespoke interior. You're just picking what someone else wants, not what you want. For 8 grand, you would think they would allow a couple of thread choices per color.

I hope when the Z06 arrives, they make a "hard core" package available. I do not want power seats. Once I set the thing, it does not move again until I sell it. I do not want leather because it is heavier than cloth (and wears worse). I want a block off plate for the stereo because I love listening to the engine. I ordered my 95 Z28 with hand crank windows.
