Fine for me. I do like diamond finish but if you get some road rash, you have to machine the surface back. If it's too much, you're buying a new wheel.
With painted wheels it's easy and cheap to repair it if you clip a curb.

You must speak from experience. Those that have chrome wheels and hit a curb will find out what a new wheel will cost.

I could have ordered them on my 458 but decided not to when the service manager explained what he has to do to fix them. I curbed a painted wheel (well, actually I hit a pot hole in front of Aria when it was under construction) and it cost me $120 to fix. Chump change on that car.
I'm not a fan of chrome wheels. I was when I was 18. That was a long time ago.

I am not a fan of chrome either. I think nothing screams old fart more than having chrome on your car. Seeing as GM wants to chase a younger demographic it confuses me that they are even offering chrome wheels.

Old fart and young whipper snapper-- although younger ones seem to like black wheels.

Well, I'm an old fart and I am getting the black wheels on mine.
I have a 2011 GS coupe in Supersonic Blue, but if I do trade this car in for a C7 ... it's going to be a 2LT Z51 in Crystal Red with the Kalahari interior.
With the standard Z51 silver painted wheels
Nice:
that will be a great color combo.......classic Ferrari combo!
Kalahari is an easy choice for interior. But do not over look Brownstone. The brownstone is a darker richer color (IMO) that goes very well with CRM. With touch red I would use the lighter Kalahari.

But of course, you have to go 3LT to get Brownstone.
