Going by the side profile there actually doesn't appear to be much difference in styling between the C7 and C6Z....Of course the difference is much more pronounced from the front and rear views.

Thats what thought, they look close. I guess the way it should be. Good luck C7! Too much concern over the tail lights. Im sure the viper guys will get used to seeing C7 tail lights soon!
