Default Manual or Auto Light Control?

Are you going to "Be in Control" and turn your headlights on and off manually and take the chance of wearing out the headlight control stalk or are you just going to "set-it-and-forget-it and leave it on "auto"?

Really? That's a question? Do it any way you like. Nothing is going to wear out. At least not prematurely. If it does you have a warranty.

Seriously? I had no idea that this was a question that anyone was interested in, much less that it was in any way unique to the c7. Now you have me trying to figure out if there is something different on the stalk compared to the C6 that warrants a C7 issue...

I think I would rather worry about the electronic accelerator sensor wearing out if it is used too much rather than relying upon cruise control Better thought: I think I will be happy that there is no need to worry about such silly issues.

I like doing it with the lights on.

Is that too much information?

Auto... I like to be able to see in tunnels and underground parking structures... With the C5, I was happy with manual lights so I wouldn't wear down the motors. But fixed headlights? Make it auto!
