I live in SoCal and want to order a C7 coupe. Please recommend a dealership that may have high allocations, that I won't have to drive the car across the nation upon delivery. The dealerships here locally are small and I'm afraid I'll be waiting too long. Thanks in advance.

There are a number of Forum dealers who support our net here. Just go up to the tab and select one of them, or just go to the new C6 for sale section. Having a large allocation at this point does not mean much. They could have 200 or 300 cars allocated but you are deep on their list.
Guess it all depends how soon you want the car. Of course they all can ship it to you.
I'd suggest looking locally. I visit SCA every few months and there is one dealer out in Mission Valley in San Diego who seems to have a fair number of cars on his lot. Find a local dealer or two, three and ask them. You could be surprised.

You can try Power Chevrolet in Valencia and the Chevy dealer in Thousand Oaks. Here's the problem though. I bought my C6 from Power back in Feb. of this year. The day I picked it up I asked them about there allocation. They have something like 80 coupes and 20 verts. BUT, they are marking up from MSRP at between $7500-10k. That's the problem in SoCal. I went with a forum dealer here and am in no rush to get mine just yet because my C6 is still "new".
Best of luck, but IMO, I would go with the forum dealers...

Which forum dealer did you choose? Did they give you an eta?

I'm picking mine up at the factory but it can be shipped anywhere. He'll explain the entire process. I tried my local dealer and got no where for months. 5 minutes after talking to Mike I put a deposit down.
When I bought my Camaro (2009) I lived in San Diego and dealt with Paradise Chevrolet in Temecula. At the time people were charging way over MSRP for the 5th gen and Paradise did MSRP and allowed for applicable discounts.
For the Vette, I have my deposit with Mike Furman at Criswell as many others here do.

I already talked to Paradise and they will be asking for a $5000 market adjustment.
