Default Z51 aero package

What exactly is included in the Z51 Aero Package? Is the full length rear spoiler only available with this package? If not, how can I get the spoiler without Z51 and what will it cost? I can't seem to find this info anywhere, but figured a CF member would know! Thanks

Included with the Z51 is the full length rear spoiler that replaces the small rear CHMSL with a body colored full length spoiler with integrated CHMSL.

RPO 5ZU us a dealer installed Z51 style full length rear spoiler available as a genuine Corvette accessory (GCA). I do not recall having seen preliminary pricing for this optional spoiler.

The Z51 aero package is supposed to include brake cooling ducts as well.

Last I checked the Z51 Spoiler simply goes on top of the CHMSL, It's not anything different really.

There are also two air dams just ahead of the front tires with the Z51 package, I believe.

I wouldn't recommend the z51 spoiler for 550 dollars when the entire z51 package with 19/20 inch rims, dry sump oiling system, different gearing in the transmission etc are available for 2800 dollars.

Trust that the resale is so much easier with z51...

Its crazy that the entire package is 2800 dollars...its the best deal on the c7...

Worst Deal on the C7? The Selectable VIN ($5,000) of course. But there are several honorable mentions;

Painted Calipers ($600)
Chrome Wheels ($2,000 + 4 Standard Wheels)
Museum Delivery ($1,000)
Competition Seats w/ Suede ($2,500 + 2 Standard Seats)

BTW: How many guys are going to re-paint their calipers? How many will buy Caliper Covers?

BTW: I ordered Chrome Wheels AND Museum Delivery on mine.

painted calipers for $600 is not a bad deal. Looks better than covers, and taking calipers off to have them painted/powder coated is a PITA not to mention the downtime on the car. Had to do that with my C6, wont do it again. So if I don't get a Z51 with black calipers, I will take this option to get red.

$600 is an extremely high price when all that is changed is the color. The Z51 calipers are already painted black.

$100 even $200 would be a much more appropriate price.

If you look at the carbon flash mirrors and spoiler option, it is only $100.

The only item I see that is included with the Z51 option to help aero(reduce rear end lift) is the full width rear deck lid spoiler, and it can ordered (at extra cost)on the base C7.

Wow.....Museum Delivery is now $1,000? That is pretty heavy given that you still have to pay for the standard delivery charge. Its been almost 6 years since I did my buyers tour AND NCM delivery. I think I would skip NCM delivery and just do the buyers tour and watch it being built....then take delivery at the dealer.

That means the vents on top of the rear quarter panels have duct work(I think)
Base Stingray would have the vents blocked off(I think)

Get Z51, for sure

The fact is that it can be charged at a premium because of the inconvenience of having to get them painted yourself.

So Chevy has a high margin on this option. Doesn't bother me.
